This couture design is a light gold/champagne colour on rich satin which certainly stands out from the crowd. The bust has fine chiffon pleats around it and to the front is a stunning jewelled feature of Swarovski crystals. The back has a lovely covered button feature all the way down to the train and is zipped for ease of use. At the base of this dress to the front is a matching jewelled feature which continues all the way around to the back. The train has the same lovely feature. This dress oozes luxury and is like no other.

Gorgeous dress with lots of detail on front and back with glass sparkly button down the back. Straps are optional! The colour really flatters any skin tone and is unusal. Really light to wear, unusual style with drop waist to flatter the figure

My husband was given a small frame with buttons from his great-grandmother's collection sewn to it (it looks way cooler than it sounds). It needs a setting like this. The silhouette above the mirror? Perfection.

This dress made me feel like a princess and is so incredibly flattering. I did not need the dress altered to me but it can be shorted and could easily fit someone size 10 or 14 due to the adjustable back. Fully cleaned and in the origianl dress holder this dress will make any wedding day perfect. I will also throw in my veil which had a very pretty filigrade around the edge and came to my lower back.

This is a beautiful dress with intricate detail on the bust, the front and matching on the back. The train can be folded up to match the front and prevent anyone from treading on it during the evening.

I love this style of vanity, with some bright towels and a bigger basket it would be perfect.
The idea of a raised bathroom sink intrigues me. I can't think of one that I have seen in person but the ones I have seen online have stirred my interest.

I used one of my husband's old watches to try my hand at this new "wear men's watches" trend. After one night of wearing it I am not sure that the new trend and I gel.
So I went on Etsy and found an awesome Victorian-esque pocket watch necklace.
I can't wait for it to get here.

My husband's birthday is on Friday and on Sunday we are going to have a dinner to celebrate. For his cake he requested the usual chocolate. This year I am going to try Bakerella's flourless chocolate cake. I think I might bake two and invite friends over for the party, I am excited.

I started thinking about calzones yesterday, I don't know if I have ever had one before but I love the concept- homemade pizza pockets. I was getting ricotta to make this pasta recipe (which was delicious, next time I might double the ricotta though) and I decided to get a larger carton of ricotta to make calzones (according to wikipedia ricotta is traditionally used in them).
I found this Emeril calzone recipe (I will probably substitute chicken for the sausage) and this buffalo chicken recipe and I think I might try to make up a Mexican pizza calzone as well. I love how you can cater calzones and pizza to what you have on hand.

Tightly fitted lace and exquisite embroidery for the upper torso, and a gorgeous lustrous gazar. Layers of tulle hidden underneath for the necessary extra volume. The sheer iridescent silk gazar, a sheer beautiful silk organza that gives it its lightweight, lustrous and soft reflective finish. Beautifully cut and shaped couture gown. A semi cathedral train, and an easily removable sash enhances the elegance and class of this mermaid silhouette.
