Here are some random bits of color I have found over the web...

I love this statement necklace, I think it definitely qualifies as a splash of color.

The only thing I really like in this room is the green island.

This yellow dresser is gorgeous, I think my little sister would love something like that.

Last but not least, the blue wall...

Of course I didn't notice that those earrings are NOT hypo-allergenic until after I posted. For me, non hypo-allergenic means ear infections, not so much fun. Here are simple, classic studs with sterling silver posts. I love Sundance.

I have been wanting some new stud earrings. I love these two options. Small, simple and interesting, a perfect combination?

Fancy Nancy and I would get along famously. All that glitters is gold, at least figuratively speaking. Which brings me to the subject at hand re-purposing fanciness for more fanciness, Martha is brilliant. Brooch Ribbon necklace, love it.

My little sister's friend is getting engaged. Last week we were browsing the internet for engagement ring styles and came across this beauty. Gorgeous, don't you think?

I used one of my husband's old watches to try my hand at this new "wear men's watches" trend. After one night of wearing it I am not sure that the new trend and I gel.

So I went on Etsy and found an awesome Victorian-esque pocket watch necklace.

I can't wait for it to get here.

My friend Martha just inherited brooches from her Mother and Grandmother. She was wondering about different ways to display them.

I like these two options. This first one makes art out of jewelry but at the same time you can still unpin the brooches should you wish to wear them.

I like the idea of putting a brooch on chain and wearing it as a necklace, it has a whimsical quality to it.

A friend showed me this necklace from Nest Pretty Things. I love it, we may be trying a DIY soon to make our own version of it.

I love the concept of using figure busts to display and store jewelry. It turns storage into something interesting and unique.

It has been a while since I added anything new to my Etsy store. I added a couple of necklaces today, this is my favorite one. Just in time for Valentine's day!

My little sister just got one of these beauties for her jewelry. I am jealous. I love my collection of jewelry boxes, they have sentimental meaning to me. But one large, beautiful box for all your jewelry? Color me covetous.

My little sister is going to a party where mustaches are encouraged. We found this mustache necklace on Etsy. I can't wait to see it!
