Return of the big ball gown - on the flipside, the fuller silhouette is also making a big comeback. With A-lines being in favor for the past decade, the ball gown suffered the fate of being labeled as too meringue-y, cupcake-ish or princess-like (like there's anything wrong with that). The new romantics are pretty but can also be worn with a rock n' roll edge. Think Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette princess with an attitude.
