I love this bright yellow bathroom storage piece. Now I want to paint my bathroom cabinet. Who wants white when you can have yellow?

My sister is renovating her bathroom this week. In an effort to keep costs down she would like to try to keep the tile limited to the floors. The current trend is to do tile (or beadboard) halfway up the walls. Here is the proof that you can have a nice bathroom without that.

I think one of the keys is to paint the walls.

My sister and I do trade offs. She edits every single school paper I write and I do searches for her home improvement projects. This is her bathroom, lovely as the mint green tile accented with black is, Camille wants a change. With a preference for subway tiles, and a love for neutral whites and grays and clean looks, this is what I found.

Many of the rooms used octagonal tiles on the floor, I prefer the gray floor paired with the white subway tiles halfway up the wall.

These have more stark color contrasts which I would tone down, but I like the idea of using a little more color.

My personal favorite from Brooklyn Limestone's remodel.

My dream bathroom? I will take any of the below, especially if it comes with one of these bath tubs...

Multiple heads? Dream come true.

I like the utilitarian look of the sinks.

I love the look of all glass.

My parents are working on a bathroom renovation right now. They are looking at vanities, their only stipulation is that it must come from Costco (I am sure there is a price stipulation too, I just don't know what it is). These are my favorites from Costco. Which is your favorite?
P.S. don't forget the giveaway ends tonight!

I love the turquoise tile in the shower.

In my mind these two showers epitomize luxury.

This is my sisters bathroom. She is waiting to re-tile the walls.

I saw this bathroom makeover on My Notting Hill, it is a perfect solution for the in between stage.

I would paint the black a light gray.

I love this Sun Valley, Idaho home. This pool would be perfect for swimming laps.

This might be the coolest bathtub I have ever seen.

House Beautiful referenced a similar bathroom as having a "wet room." I think I like this concept.

I love this bathroom. The tile work in the shower, the shower head on the ceiling, mirror image vanities, love it all.

This weekend I was discussing bathroom styles with my brother-in-law who is starting to plan for a bathroom overhaul this summer. It got me to thinking about what I would do if I were to choose. One of my favorite bathroom renovations is on Brooklyn Limestone, they did such a wonderful job. I like light colors in a bathroom. The question is how and which colors do mix to avoid too much monotony, or is an all white bathroom (at least as far as tile on the floor, cabinets and sinks go) the way to go?

I like natural colors on the floor, I think that this is one of the best places to add a little variation. Whether is be stones like this or more of a gray or a very, very light tan color.

That being said, this floor is awesome.

I love the very small tiles in bathrooms.

Again with the small tiles and they grayish hue.

This tile looks to be more of a tan color. I like tan colored tile but only if it is really, really light. A lot of the darker tan tile makes a room look a little dated in my mind.

Once more grays and small tiles. This room seems to be a little more monotonous as far as color goes, but it doesn't really bother me that much. I think it is the white accents that make the difference.

A dream come true if you ask me.

I love the tile work in this bathroom and the mirrors.

A marble bath enclosed shower, I am not sure if it could get any better.
