For my birthday (I hit 25,Silver Jubliee anyone?) my sister sent me eight ramekins along with a recipe for molten chocolate cakes. I think I will take the recipe for a test run this weekend and perhaps turn our party into a true Silver Jubilee?
Molten Chocolate Cakes Recipe:
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, cut into pieces
6 ounces (170 grams) semi-sweet chocolate, cut into small pieces (can you use chocolate chips?)
3 large eggs, separated
1/3 cup (65 grams) granulated white sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
